You Can Help April Showers Continue to Serve the Community

The Boys and Girls' Club of San Leandro provides space for April Showers events. 

Donations of new men's and women's crew socks (white, black or gray), new tee shirts, and new men's briefs are always needed. 

New and gently worn and clean men’s jeans, sweatpants and shorts, XL tee shirts, sweatshirts, 

hoodies and baseball caps. Women’s sweatpants, leggings, tee shirts and sweatshirts. Also, backpacks and athletic shoes. Please, no professional or formal clothing.

We also need new personal grooming items such as razors, toothbrushes, combs, aerosol deodorant, toothpaste and trial sizes (from hotels) of shampoo, soaps, lotions etc. Monetary donations are also vitally important to support the program and purchase necessary items. One hundred percent of all funds received are used for the homeless. There is no overhead!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH 

APRIL SHOWERS

• Assist our guests with distribution of clothing, shower supplies, food etc. at the Boys and Girls Club on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month.

•  Making bag lunches

•  Making soup
